The Canopy

London Equestrian Events Arena

We are working with Riding Club London and Grandstand Media to develop a site on London’s Greenwich Peninsular to provide a unique equestrian and sporting legacy from London’s 2012 Olympics.

The project will provide a distinctive and iconic venue for London, with all facilities being located under an enclosed structure to allow riding and events to be held year-round. The development will enable our client to offer Olympic-standard coaching to develop the skills of future competitive riders, as well as providing lessons for beginners and special classes for local young people. The distinctive covered arena will form the heart of the development, and will be used for both equestrian sports and general spectator events.

The scheme will also include elite livery stables and a members club for horse-owners and riders in Central London – a uniquely convenient facility within easy reach of both the Central London and Docklands business districts.
